It also has its own operating system already installed on Mac viz., Mac OS X version 10.6 "Snow Leopard". Currently Mac using Intel X86 architecture. Similar to other computers, the Mac can run alternative operating systems like Linux and MS Windows. However, Apple did not license the Mac OS X used on computers that are not manufactured by Apple.
