Macintosh or Mac, as it is popularly known, was a product line that is designed, developed and marketed by Apple Inc. One unique feature of the Mac that makes your hardware contrary to other computer systems that integrate across multiple components from different companies. It also has its own operating system already installed on Mac viz., Mac OS X version 10.6 "Snow Leopard". Currently Mac using Intel X86 architecture. Similar to other computers, the Mac can run alternative operating systems like Linux and MS Windows. However, Apple did not license the Mac OS X used on computers that are not manufactured by Apple.
