2010 Top Ten Software on My Macbook Air Laptop

My top ten software will be based on the new year 2010. Every year at the end, I will assess the budget and what software or tools do I need for next year.

shall commence within the year 2009 with the Time Machine backup utility that familiar with OS X 10.5, to backup all my years of work that store on my computer. Since the invention, the backup is no longer a hassle. I still keep my Carbon Copy Cloner to clone the hard disk and other foods that Time Machine can not do.

Adium almost all-in-one instant messaging software that is always included, Air on my laptop. Without Adium, my thirteen-inch screen will be attacked with all brands of Windows messaging. Adium allows me to combine all of my accounts in a variety of brands and skinning the user interface and greatly reduce the return on my property visible screen to better use by other applications.

Sociallite replaced by Nambu. Community keeps all my social networks in one place, one login, one look, keeping it neat and tidy. If you have a thirteen-inch screen, like me, you will appreciate, such as social applications for managing and organizing your friends and give you an overall view of what happens between them.

In the era of Web 2.0, I'm getting more and more dependent on the Internet, it is very important to me now that what the tools allow me to work online safely and quickly.

I used daily rapidweaver for rapid deployment of web pages. It is very simple and fun program, but with limited possibilities of blogging. I recently change ecto, weblog client on my laptop that Air permit me to outline my online blog and publish it later on my WordPress based website. I still use rapidweaver for rapid deployment of web pages that should not be blogging.

My new favorite program text Wrangler.Jednostavan and powerful text editor which now replaces my Dreamweaver and other text editors. Text Wrangler let me read web files such as HTML, PHP, etc. with ease and speed. It also allows me to edit and save online via FTP client like Cyberduck.

Cyberduck is now my favorite FTP client. So easy to use and have many different options for configuring the application style. I can use it to log into my MobileMe account (officially known as.Mac) and all of my FTP sites.

I love iPhoto! It is getting better with the newer version. Now the Face Detection and geo-tagging, but that's not what I use most of the time. iPhoto allows me to upload photos of a mass on my MobileMe Gallery, Flickr and Facebook. It saves me a lot of time to upload, annotate and manage them.

There is no Final Cut and complicated options for creating a five-minute video. iMovies that come with OS X, allow me to quickly create and export video directly to my YouTube account or export on my cell phone. No more like bad old days to go through the codec settings optimized video export. With iMovies just concentrate on creativity.

iBank helps me manage and keep track of my money. Before using iBank I have been using Microsoft Money through Parallels Desktop, which is troublesome thing to do. iBank is also a device for the dashboard that allow me to update my record without opening the program. iBank now simplify their financial management.

Finally, viscosity, its newly OpenVPN client. This award-winning VPN client keeps all my internet activities safe from preying theft and allow me to access websites that are blocked by my ISP. My internet speed is much faster and more stable now.

my ten software Time Machine, Adium, social, ecto, Text Wrangler, Cyberduck, iPhoto, iMovies, iBank, and viscosity. Not enough? Here is a Christmas bonus. Little Snapper, web snapping utility that let me quickly survey web site for future reference or to comment on it. This is another tool I will difficult to use in the new year.

Here are my top ten software plus a Christmas bonus, I will use for the year 2010 on my 1.6GHz MacBook Air laptop.
